WHAT TO SEE

Bevagna is a small jewel nestled in the center of Umbria , in the province of Perugia . The historic center is small enough to be visited on foot, and the fact that Bevagna has a flat development certainly helps. The walls that surround the village of Bevagna were built between the 13th and 14th centuries and are perfectly preserved as are the towers, built as defense measures against possible foreign incursions.

In the heart of Bevagna, there is Piazza Silvestri, one of the most beautiful and scenic medieval squares in the entire region, in whose center stand out the nineteenth-century fountain and the Roman column with Corinthian capital.

Visiting and walking through this village you will have the opportunity to see the remains of the Roman Theatre, the thermal baths and the temple.
